About this speaker

Bonnie has 41 years of nursing experience caring for cardiovascular disease patients and educating hundreds of cardiac nurses, medical students, and MDs on cardiovascular care in a large tertiary care hospital. In 1997, her career took a sharp turn when she implemented the 1st RPM program in NC, the 15th in the country. Her passion for quality patient care and outcomes and her vision to re-design health care delivery, even in a small way, led to her dedicating the past 25 years of her career, advancing the adoption and implementation of Remote Monitoring both nationally and internationally. Bonnie has implemented hundreds of RPM programs in these healthcare sectors: Home Health, Hospitals, Health Systems, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics, Senior Centers, and Primary Care Clinics.

Bonnie is recognized as a RPM pioneer, expert and thought leader. Bonnie was the 13th inductee into the American Telemedicine Association’s College of Fellows in 2010. She currently serves as a Board Advisor and Consultant for the Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center (MATRC).
